MOSCOW, May 27 /TASS/. Venezuela is offering Russia cooperation in the development of special economic zones, including electric power projects, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez said after talks with her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday.
"Today they [Russian companies] are operating on the territory of Venezuela and helping us in electric power generation. And our relations with these companies are both mature and are aimed at developing new areas," the Venezuelan foreign minister said.
‘We want Russia to participate in the development of special economic zones, which are currently being established," she said.
Special economic zones will be created in Venezuela for developing commercial enterprises in electric power engineering and agri-business, the Venezuelan foreign minister said.
