MOSCOW, May 21. /TASS/. GDP growth in Russia is forecasted at 0.2% in 2016, the IMF Russian mission head Ernesto Ramirez Rigo said at a conference on the Fund's work in Russia.
"Our growth forecast for 2016 is 0.2%," he said, adding that in the mid-term Russia will reach annual growth of 1.5%.
Russia has enough underlying strength given its huge foreign exchange reserves and low level of sovereign debt, Rigo said. He also notes the satisfactory situation with Russia’s budget.
