MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Russian gas deliveries to Ukraine amounted to roughly $84 mln since the beginning of May, Ukrtransgaz said Monday.
During the first half of May deliveries of Russian gas amounted to 640 mln cubic meters. The supply peak fell on May 15, when Naftogaz received roughly 32 mln cubic meters of gas. This is 3-fold more than the daily supply in April.
In the first half of May Naftogaz bought gas for $84 mln at the price of $247 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
As TASS previously reported, on May 13 and May 14 Naftogaz transferred Gazprom $30 mln and $32 mln, respectively, and on April 28 and on May 5 Ukrainian Naftogaz transferred $40 mln to Gazprom.
