MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Slovakia slashed gas supplies to Ukraine by nearly 45% from the beginning of May, Slovakia’s gas transport system operator Eustream said on Tuesday.
Natural gas supplies to Naftogaz of Ukraine have totaled 21.6 mln cubic meters a day since the beginning of May, as compared to 38.5 mln cubic meters daily in April.
Gas supplies from Hungary and Poland to Ukraine were suspended.
TASS reported earlier Ukraine imported 1.18 bln cubic meters of natural gas from Europe in April 2015, 12.6% less than in March.
