MOSCOW, April 29. /TASS/. Gazprom forecasts gas exports to non-CIS countries in 2015 at 152-153 bln cubic meters, Deputy Chairman of Management Committee Alexander Medvedev said Wednesday.
"Our current forecast of exports to non-CIS countries is 152-152 bln cubic meters," Medvedev said, adding that "this is substantially higher than last year’s level."
"However, in the short-term one shouldn’t expect growth of demand for gas in Europe," he added.
The demand for gas in Europe is triggered by accelerated decline in output there, Medvedev said. "This particularly concerns the output level in the Netherlands where a huge Groningen field is facing serious problems. The demand will depend on the fact whether Europe will develop its energy policy," he added.
