MOSCOW, April 29. /TASS/. Russia’s gas giant Gazprom continues borrowing on the markets of the UK, Japan, the US and the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region, Deputy Financial Officer Alexander Ivannikov said Wednesday.
"We’re not a sanctioned company so we borrow both on traditional markets like the UK, the US and Japan and on new markets - in Asia," he said.
As TASS reported earlier Gazprom took out a long term loan worth $500 mln in April 2015 from a consortium of banks with the Libor rate +3.25% till 2018, the company said in its financial report.
In March, Gazprom concluded a loan agreement with Promsvyazbank (PSB) worth $350 mln with 5.4% interest rate till 2018.
In January and March, Gazprom took out foreign currency loans worth €230 mln and €130 mln respectively till 2016.
