HANGZHOU (China), April 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) is in talks on the delivery of domestic space rocket engines to China and is also discussing the project of a lunar station, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Tuesday.
The Russian vice-premier spoke at the opening of a session of the Russia-China Commission for the preparation of meetings between the heads of governments. China’s delegation is led by Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang.
"We’re developing our interaction on the issue of the delivery of Russian rocket engines for the space industry of China. Roscosmos is discussing the issue of involving China as a basic partner under the project of creating a lunar research station. We have informed China of our plans for the possible creation of a national orbital station. There is profound understanding and interest in this area," he said.
