Russian Energy Minister plans to meet OPEC representatives on June 2-3

MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. The head of Russia’s Energy Ministry Alexander Novak plans to hold meetings with representatives of the OPEC (Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countries) member states on June 2-3, he said Tuesday.

"I’ll be meeting [them] on 2-3 June," he said.

As TASS reported earlier the Energy Ministry plans to discuss the situation with oil prices on the global market with representatives of the OPEC member states in Vienna on June 3-4. "We were holding bilateral meetings with representatives of the OPEC states during the whole last quarter. We met practically with all members. The next meeting will be held in Vienna," the ministry’s spokesperson Olga Golant told TASS earlier.

On 3-4 June an OPEC seminar will take place in Vienna, which the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak plans to attend, as will representatives of all OPEC member states - ministers of petroleum and energy.
