ISTANBUL, April 17. /TASS/. Trade flows are shifting from Europe to Eurasia, to Istanbul and Moscow, Member of the Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Cengiz Gunay told TASS Friday.
"Our contracting companies implemented in Russia projects worth a total of around $60 bln. Around $10 bln were put up as direct investment. We’re ready and we intend to continue developing this sphere of cooperation. For the nearest years we’re setting the goal of turning our strategic partnership into economic integration," Gunay said.
"Mutual cooperation both at the level of cities and governments is especially important," he said, adding that "this is connected with the fact that the trade flows are gradually shifting from Europe to the Eurasian space - in Turkey to Istanbul, in Russia to Moscow. Those are two very important cities both from financial viewpoint and from the viewpoint of tourism and perspective development.".
