Russia's nuclear corporation discusses expanding cooperation with China — source

The sides are discussing the possibility of building the seventh and eighth units at the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant

HANOI, April 6. /TASS/. Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom is discussing expansion of its cooperation with China, a source familiar with the course of negotiations told journalists.

"Active talks are underway. The possibility of building the seventh and eighth units at the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and expansion of cooperation are being discussed," the source said.

He explained that two reactors have already been built at the NPP; reactors 3 and 4 are currently being constructed.
