HAVANA, March 24. /TASS/. Russia and Cuba are preparing large-scale projects in energy and civil aviation sectors, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday after talks with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez and President Raul Castro.
"An important task today is to prepare a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation due to be held in Russia’s Kazan on April 22," he said. "Taking into account the instruction from the two heads of state, there are reasons to think that ministries of our countries will prepare rather big and serious projects in the areas of energy, transport, civil infrastructure, biotechnologies, pharmaceuticals, public health and civil aviation."
