MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom confirmed receiving $15 mln of prepayment from Ukraine, those funds will be sufficient for gas supplies till the end of next week, Gazprom spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov told TASS Friday.
"We received another $15 mln from Naftogaz Ukrainy [Ukraine’s state gas company - TASS]. This means that supplies till the end of next week have been paid for," he said.
The company received the previous prepayment for March gas supplies worth $15 mln from Naftogaz on March 17. Before that, Gazprom received $15 mln worth of payment from Ukraine’s gas company on March 13, and earlier on March 5 and 6.
Currently, Gazprom supplies to Ukraine 10 mln cubic meters of gas per day.]
