MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russia's gas giant Gazprom has confirmed receiving gas prepayment from Ukraine's Naftogaz gas company, a representative of the Ukrainian company told TASS.
Naftogaz earlier said it had transferred $15 million in prepayment for Russian gas deliveries.
Gazprom received the previous $15 mln payment from Ukraine on March 6.
Ukraine is currently importing the Russian natural gas in the volume around 10 bln cubic meters a day.
Naftogaz said earlier pre-payment for March supplies of the Russian natural gas will depend on the weather conditions.
Representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the European Union will gather in Brussels on March 20 to discuss supplies of Russia's gas to Ukraine in the summer period.
Ukraine plans to negotiate post-payment for Russian gas supplies and a decline in gas delivery price.
