Russian gas supplies to Armenia restored

Natural gas supply to Armenia was suspended on February 12 as a result of the damage to the gas pipeline due to a rock landslide in the Kazbegi Municipality in Georgia

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Russian gas supplies to Armenia have been restored, Gazprom Armenia reported.

"Emergency repair work is completed, the gas supply to the republic was restored," the company said.

Natural gas supply to Armenia was suspended on February 12 from 13:30 as a result of the damage to the "North Caucasus - Transcaucasia" gas pipeline due to a rock landslide in the Kazbegi Municipality in Georgia.

Gazprom Armenia is a subsidiary of Gazprom. In 2013 Gazprom reduced the volume of gas supplies to Armenia by 0.6% to 1.9 billion cubic meters.
