MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. The Central Bank of Russia and the National Bank of Belarus signed an agreement on cooperation in joint supervision over payment service providers operating in Russia and Belarus, the Bank of Russia said on Wednesday.

The agreement is aimed at harmonization of approaches of the Bank of Russia and the National Bank of Belarus towards regulation and supervision of payment service providers, development of payment services, improvement of the service quality and combating fraud in money transfers, the Russian regulator said.
