MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. Annual production of cars declined by 9.7% in 2014 to reach 1.74 million, the Russian statistical agency Rosstat said on Wednesday.

Production of trucks dropped by 25.7% last year.

Bus making also cut back in the reporting period by 18.2%, down to 43,200.

AVTOVAZ is the largest carmaker in Russia, while KAMAZ is the number one truck manufacturer.
