MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. Russia's inflation rate may be at about 11% in 2015, national development bank Vnesheconombank (VEB) Deputy Chairman and former Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach told reporters on Tuesday.
"The country's December-to-December inflation may reach 11% in 2015," he said, adding that the minimal level will be at 10%.
According to the State Statistics Service, Russia's inflation reached 11.4% in 2014, which considerably exceeded the Economic Development Ministry's latest official forecast of 9%.
This year, the Economic Development Ministry plans to keep inflation at 7.5%. At the end of 2014, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said double-digit inflation would remain in Russia throughout 2015.
