Russia’s import from non-CIS countries 2014 down by 8.2% to $253.8 billion

MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. Russia’s import from the non-CIS countries last year was down by 8.2% to $253.8 billion dollars, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said on Tuesday.

“According to early customs statistics, the import of goods from the non-CIS countries in value terms totalled $253.814 billion, showing a 8.2% decline against the 2013 level,” the FCS said.

In December 2014, the value of import from the non-CIS countries stood at $20.55 billion, which is 7.4% more than in November 2014. In December 2014, the import from the non-CIS countries shrank by 22.3% in contrast to the same month of 2013.
