KIEV, December 31. /TASS/. The Ukrainian national company Naftogaz has made a prepayment for Russian energy giant Gazprom’s supply of 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January, Naftogaz said on Wednesday.
“Naftogaz expects to receive 1 billion cubic meters of gas through partially underspent prepayment for December 2014 and its prepayment for January 2015,” Naftogaz said in a statement.
“The gas volume that will be taken using the remainder of the December prepayment will be calculated at a new price,” the statement said.
