Krasnoyarsk to host international economic forum Feb 26-28

The forum will focus on import substitution issues, problems of the development of relations between Russia and the Asia-Pacific countries and BRICS states

KRASNOYARSK, December 30. /TASS/. The international Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum (KEF) will be held in the Siberian city with support of the Russian government on February 26-28, 2015, the government of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the largest region of Siberia, told TASS on Tuesday.

The forum will focus on import substitution issues, problems of the development of relations between Russia and the Asia-Pacific countries and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) states, determining the potentially attractive interstate development projects.

The 11th KEF that was held in February 2014 was devoted to the principal directions of the Russian economy transition to a new development phase. It was attended by more than 5,000 people from 33 countries and 71 Russian regions. The forum participants signed 26 investment agreements totalling more than 3.8 billion rubles ($65.62 million).
