Groups of domestic, foreign investors to take part in Rosneft privatization

It is too early to speculate about privatization deadlines, Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said

NEW DELHI, December 11. /TASS/. Several groups of domestic and foreign investors will take part in the privatization of the oil company Rosneft, the company's president Igor Sechin told the media.

It is too early to speculate about privatization deadlines, he added. “At the moment, potential investors are being selected,” he said. “I believe there will be several groups of investors, both domestic and foreign.”

Sechin believes Rosneft has a major potential. “We will ignore the volatility of the market. The government has approved a selling price of $8.12 per share at our proposal,” Sechin said. “We shall proceed from that in order to sell at prices not below that level.”
