KIEV, November 26. /TASS/. The rise in gas tariffs in Ukraine has not justified itself, and the government has earmarked nearly $7 billion to Naftogaz, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Wednesday.
“To cover the difference in gas tariffs, we allocated 103 billion hryvnia ($6.86 billion) this year to Naftogaz of Ukraine,” he said. “Therefore, the rise in tariffs to cover the expenses has not been justified."
