Several ministries and closed joint stock society Nebitgazkhyzmat were permitted to sign specific contracts with company KAMAZ FTC Corp.LLP, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov said in a decree on Monday.
“Turkmenistan has established fruitful partnership with the Republic of Tatarstan successfully developing within inter-state dialogue with Russia,” Berdymukhamedov said signing the document. Vehicles of the Russian motor giant are used broadly in different industries in Turkmenistan and “showed its best side.”
As many as 8.85 thousand Kamaz trucks are used in Turkmenistan. Only during Berdymukhamedov’s presidency since 2007 more than 5.5 thousand trucks have been delivered in the country.
