Indonesia considers bigger supplies of fruit, fish to Russian market

The ministers also discussed several projects at various stages

BEIJING, November 9. /TASS/. Indonesia considers bigger supplies of fresh and tinned fruit, fish and sea products to the Russian market. Russia’s Minister of Economic Development Alexai Ulyukayev discussed further cooperation with Indonesia’s Minister of Trade Rahmat Gobel, the Russian ministry said on Sunday.

The ministers also discussed several projects at various stages, including the project, where by 2016 Russia’s Railroad Company (RZD) will organise infrastructures for coal transportation to the Kalimantan Island, and construction of a bauxite and alumina complex in West Kalimantan, a monitoring system for Indonesia’s exclusive 200-mile economic area, as well as satellite communication.

The Russian minister said from 2009 the trade turnover between Russia and Indonesia tripled and reached almost $3 billion in 2013. The countries set the target to raise the level of bilateral trade from 3 to 5 billion dollars within next two years.
