Ukraine’s Naftogaz announces transfer of first gas payment worth $1.45 billion

KIEV, November 4. /TASS/. Ukraine’s national oil and gas company Naftogaz on Tuesday announced the transfer of the first payment for gas worth $1.45 billion to Russian state-controlled energy giant Gazprom.

“The funds required for the payment are at the current foreign currency account of Naftogaz,” the Ukrainian company said.

TASS had no confirmation of the report from other sources.
