Russia’s gas output in January-October 2014 goes down by 5.3%

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Gas production in Russia in the ten months of 2014 decreased by 5.3% to stand at 516.6 billion cubic metres, the central control department of Russia’s fuel and energy sector said in a report published on Sunday.

In October 2014, gas production dropped by 15.4% to 53 billion cubic metres.

Russia’s gas giant Gazprom decreased gas production in January-October 2014 by 9.9% to 352.3 billion cubic metres, including in October - by 23.4%, to 35.4 cubic metres.

Oil production in Russia in the ten months of 2014 increased by 0.7% to reach 437.885 million tonnes.

In October 2014, oil output went up by 0.3% to 44.837 million tonnes.

However, oil exports in January-October 2014 decreased by 4.6% to 186.9 million tonnes. In October, it went down by 4.3% to 19.120 million tonnes.

Primary crude oil processing in January-October increased by 5.6% to amount 239.442 million tonnes, including by 6.4% in October to 23.9 million tonnes.
