The so-called “eastern route” includes natural gas supplies via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. Pipeline Power of Siberia is a system of main gaslines from Yakutia and Irkutsk Region to Vladivosotk.
Estimated at $21.3 billion, it is intended to pump 61 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the Russian Far East and China annually and will stretch over a distance of 3,968 km (2,465 miles). The first supplies could start in 2018-2019

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang visits Russia from October 12 to 14. Trade turnover between Russia and China has grown more than tenfold - from $ 8 billion to $ 89.2 billion in 2000-2013. In 2015, the turnover is expected to increase to $100 billion.
