Gazprom plans to keep domestic gas sales in 2015 at 2014 level

ST. PETERSBURG, October 7. /TASS/. Gas supplies on Russia’s domestic market in 2015 are forecasted at the 2014 level, Kirill Sleznyov, board member of Russia’s gas giant Gazprom and director general of Gazprom mezhregiongaz, said on Tuesday.

“Now, a contract campaign is underway. So far, we see no tendency towards a considerable growth in demand. Neither we feel a downwards tendency,” he told journalists on the sidelines of the Petersburg international gas forum. However he did not disclose exact figures on domestic gas sales in 2014.

In 2013, Gazprom group sold a total of 228.1 billion cubic metres of gas on the domestic market.
