BEIJING, October 2. /TASS/. The policy towards developing Chinese-Russian multifaceted strategic partnership remains unchanged irrespective of the situation on the international arena, Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping told TASS on Thursday.
He was speaking on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia.
“Chinese-Russian relations are strategic, comprehensive and long-term. They are not built for situational reasons. The development of our relations is indispensable for prosperity of our states and peoples. It does not depend on the change of the global situation,” he said.
At present, China and Russia have a much deeper relationship. “This is equal and mutually advantageous cooperation,” Cheng Guoping said.
