GORKI, September. 23 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s state-owned Vnesheconombank (VEB) has to keep financial support of the country’s economy at the same level despite troubles with borrowings on foreign markets, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday at a meeting on VEB’s capital increase.
“We need the bank to retain support of Russia’s economy at the required level, especially in the current circumstances, when the country’s economic policy, first of all, depends on internal sources of financing,” Medvedev said.
