BRUSSELS, September 22. /ITAR-TASS/. The European Commission (EC) officially announced another trilateral meeting of Russia, Ukraine and the EU on gas supplies is due in Berlin on September 26, EC’s press service said on Monday.
Previous rounds of the trilateral talks on gas prices and on settlement of Ukraine’s overdue payments featured energy officials from Russia, EC and Ukraine Alexander Novak, Gunther Oettinger and Yuriy Prodan respectively. The consultations began on May 2 and finished with no results on June 16. Later on, Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz filed counter claims to Stockholm’s arbitration court.
