MOSCOW, September 16. /ITAR-TASS/. One month after its budget carrier Dobrolyot was blacklisted by the European Union, Russian flagship carrier Aeroflot has established a new, wholly-owned low-cost service to be known as Byudzhetny Perevozchik, a company statement said on Tuesday.

Dobrolyot suspended all flights from August 4 after EU sanctions prompted several European counteragents to annul leasing, maintenance and insurance contracts and deny the airline navigation information.

Aeroflot had considered alternative options to restart low-cost flights. One sought an end to sanctions, a second - judged too complicated - was to turn Dobrolyot's limited liability legal status into a joint stock company.
