BEIJING, September 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian car producer AvtoVAZ is ready to consider establishing joint ventures with Chinese suppliers of car components, Sergei Chemezov, CEO of state-owned industrial corporation Rostec, told reporters Friday.
“AvtoVAZ is interested in forming close cooperation with Chinese companies, which includes a possibility of setting up joint ventures in Russia,” Chemezov said.
The company is open for suppliers of electric and electronic equipment, transmissions, suspension and engine components, alloy wheels, car seats, bearings, and other car components produced by Chinese manufacturers, he said.
AvtoVAZ already cooperates with such suppliers as Ling Long, Mahle China, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
