BRUSSELS, August 27. /ITAR-TASS/. There is no final agreement on a date for Russian-EU-Ukrainian gas talks, but they are expected to be held in September, a European Commission source told ITAR-TASS.
The Ukrainian presidential press service told ITAR-TASS that talks with the participation of the Russian, EU and Ukrainian energy ministers would be held on September 6.
Earlier, EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger said after talks between an EU delegation and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko that an agreement was reached on planned consultations between the European Commission, Russia and Gazprom on the one side and Ukraine and Naftogaz on the other side. He said the resumption of the consultations would be discussed on August 29 in Moscow, where he would meet with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
The EU commissioner also said that the EU had proposed to conclude a provisional agreement on gas between Ukraine and Russia before the Stockholm court made decisions.
