MOSCOW, August 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian federal veterinary and phytosanitary watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor plans to increase the number of accredited Chilean food importers, the service said following chief Sergey Dankvert’s meeting with Chilean Ambassador Juan Eduardo Eguiguren.
“Fish supplies might increase two-three times from 53,000 tonnes last year. Shellfish sales can grow from 3,000 tonnes to 15-20,000 tonnes,” goes the report.
The watchdog also considers starting potato import from Chile as the products are not infected.
