Russian Finance Ministry wants to limit foreign online shopping by €150

MOSCOW, June 20. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian Finance Ministry has prepared a draft law to limit purchases from online foreign stores to €150 or 10 kilograms a month compared with €1,000 or 31 kilograms now, according to a statement published by the ministry on Friday.

If the limit is exceeded, the customer will pay a 30% duty.

President Vladimir Putin granted the government the right to change rules of tax-free online trade in May.
