MOSCOW, June 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian monopoly gas exporter Gazprom has extended its liquefied natural gas (LNG) contract with India’s major gas company, Gail, Gazprom deputy chairman Alexander Medvedev told a news conference.
The contract has been prolonged to 25 years, stipulating annual supplies of 3-3.5 million tonnes with the possibility of a further increase. A 20-year deal for annual supplies of 2.5 million tonnes was signed by the two partners in October 2012.
