BRUSSELS, June 13. /ITAR-TASS/. The European Union’s Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger expects a dialogue with Moscow and Kiev in a telephone format on a new round of the tripartite gas negotiations.
Oettinger participates in a meeting of the EU 28 countries’ energy ministers in Luxembourg.
He said he hoped the parties “will be able to continue (the talks) tomorrow, on June 14” adding he could meet “in Brussels, Berlin, Kiev or Moscow.”
“I am expecting with optimism that all the three parties (the EU, Russia and Ukraine) will avoid cardinal changes in their positions,” he said.
