MINSK, May 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Belarus will receive $1 billion loan from Russia’s Vneshtorgbank (VTB) within 10-14 days, Belarusian representative in the Eurasian Economic Commission Council Sergei Rumas told reporters in the Belarusian capital on Friday.

“We have reached an agreement to receive a $1 billion bridge loan from VTB within 10-14 days,” Rumas said.

Rumas also said that the repayment date of a $450 million loan provided by Russia in December 2013 was prolonged until September. Minsk is waiting for Moscow to give a $2 billion loan to repay both the $450 million tranche and the VTB loan.
