ASTANA, May 29. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia upholds Kyrgyzstan’s and Armenia’s strive for Eurasian integration, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has said.

“The drive of our Armenian and Kyrgyz colleagues is very serious and pragmatic, based on national interests,” Putin said at a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Union on Thursday.

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan called for signing a treaty on the country’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union till June 15, 2014.

A draft document has been prepared, he said.

“It will take two or three days to find mutually advantageous decisions on the remaining issues,” Sargsyan said.

Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazbek Atambayev said the country intends to join the Customs Union till the yearend.

“We’d like to ring in the New Year jointly with other members of the Customs Union,” he said.
