MOSCOW, May 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Revenues of telecommunications provider Vimpelcom have gone down 10% from $5.6 billion to $5 billion in the first quarter of 2014, the company said in a report.
Organic decline has made 5% without due account of dynamics of foreign currency exchange rates and write-offs. The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) went down organically 6% to $2.1 billion.
Net profit attributable to the company’s shareholders has dropped by 90% from $408 million to $39 million.
