BRUSSELS, May 07. /ITAR-TASS/. The European Commission will hold a joint session with representatives of the Ukrainian parliament-appointed authorities in Brussels on June 13 to discuss a range of issues concerning the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, the commission’s president said on Wednesday.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said that the issue of energy security in Ukraine would be the priority on the agenda of the planned session next month.

The official said the European Commission continues its work on resolving the situation with energy security in Ukraine, taking into account a recently held trilateral meeting in Poland’s Warsaw.

The meeting in Warsaw on May 2 involved representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the European Union and focused on issues of the Russian natural gas transit via Ukraine as well as on Ukraine’s gas debt to Russia.
