BOAO, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia seeks to strengthen multifaceted, mutually advantageous partnership with Asia Pacific countries, Russia’s senior government official has said.
“We strengthen cooperation with the Asia Pacific countries and involve them in the existing organizations and forums. Russia’s powerful eastern vector is a balanced strategic policy and reflects present-day geopolitical realities,” Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich told the Boao Forum for Asia on Thursday.
“Russia is a great power, but 70% of its territory is in Asia,” he said.
The Russia-China Energy and Finance Dialogue will be held within the Boao Forum for Asia. Russia’s companies Gazprom, Gazprombank, Gazpromneft, Sibur, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, RusHydro, RUSAL, Volga Group, the Siberia Business Council and the Ministry for the Far East Development will take part in the forum.
