Ukraine acting president urges EU countries to replace Russian goods with Ukrainian goods

KIEV, March 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Acting President and Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov on Wednesday called on European countries to replace Russian goods with Ukrainian ones.

“We have started real qualitative changes in Ukraine. We would like to speed up this movement, which is being slowed down by Russia’s military aggression,” Turchynov said at a meeting with Poland’s ex-president Alexander Kwasniewski, the head of the Yalta European Strategy supervisory board.

He added that the Ukrainian authorities were trying to create conditions to attract more investment to Ukraine. Turchynov urged the European Union and other countries to replace “Russian goods with Ukrainian ones” if they wanted their help to Ukraine to be effective.
