MOSCOW, March 19. /ITAR-TASS/. A lower ruble rate will not cause serious slowdown of Russia’s retail trade output, Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Viktor Yevtukhov told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“To date, I see no big problems causing serious slowdown of the retail trade output,” he said, adding that insignificant slowdown could be registered over customers’ confusion following the weakening of the ruble rate.

“The population will try to decide for itself whether to save money or continue to spend money as it has done before,” Yevtukhov said.
