ST PETERSBURG, March 12, 4:34 /ITAR-TASS/. The 10th industrial fair opens here on Wednesday. The fair, a major one in the North-Western Federal District of Russia, will feature products turned out by more than 300 companies operating in the fields of metallurgy, metalworking, and machinebuilding.
Several specialized exhibitions and an extensive business program are planned for the fair. An "Autoprom Russia" conferences is to be held as well. Representatives of Russia's automotive clusters and companies making components will discuss tendencies in the development of the sector with due regard for the financial position of European and other countries. Prospects for a further localization of the production of motor-vehicle components in Russia will be a separate theme for discussion.
This year, experts will be able to get acquainted with the output of foreign companies from ten countries. Collective exhibitions will be arranged, in particular, by Belarus, Germany, the Federal Land of Bavaria, China, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
The 10th industrial fair will run here from March 12 to 14.
