KIEV, February 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine intends to continue talks with Russia on financial cooperation in the gas sector, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said on Thursday.
Ukraine is planning “to ask Russia to continue giving tranches, which amount to $15 billion”, the minister said.
“We are trying to do this within the shortest period of time. Maybe, next week,” the Ukrainian minister said.
The new government would like to hear Russia’s position on this issue “to continue cooperation in the gas sector”, he added.
