KIEV, February 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s ministry of energy has reassured that natural gas is being pumped to the European Union via Ukraine’s territory in a routine regime.
“All energy companies and facilities are working in a routine mode, security measures at strategically important facilities have been enhanced,” the Ukrainian government said in a press release on Thursday after a video conference with acting Ministers of Energy and Coal Industry Eduard Stavitsky and Minister of Natural Resources Oleg Proskuryakov. “Gas transportation to the countries of the European Union proceeds in full volume," the press release stated.
