Real incomes of Russians go down by 1.5% in January 2014

MOSCOW, February 19. /ITAR-TASS/. The real disposable incomes of the Russian population (incomes net of compulsory payments adjusted for the consumer price index) decreased by 1.5% in January 2014, the Russian State Statistics Service said.

In the period under review, a monthly average pre-tax wage was estimated at 28,945 rubles (USD 1 = RUB 35.59), which was 8.7% more than in the same period of 2013

As of February 1, 2014, overall wage indebtedness in the economic activities under monitoring reached 2,487 million rubles, thus growing by 538 million rubles (27.6 percent) versus the beginning of the year. Total arrears were estimated at 1% of a monthly payroll budget at the enterprises under monitoring.
