MOSCOW, February 19, (ITAR-TASS) - In January of the current year, Russia increased oil production by 1.6 percent year-on-year to 44.903 million tonnes, the fuel and energy complex's Central Dispatch Service reports.
The oil export in January reduced by three percent to 19.268 million tonnes. The lower export can be explained by bigger supplies to domestic oil refineries: in January the domestic supplies grew by 4.1 percent to 24.019 million tonnes.
